Hope you're looking flyy reading this...Per a comment by a reader your site has great advice here but the question is: "How to be flyy while economically challenged"?
SIMPLE! Just get creative, of which some of us aren't so, I did the work for you:
1. Get a bottle, or two, or three, of 3-buck-chuck (Trader Joe's) It's Spring, right? Spring clean your closet, and send an evite to all your peeps for an evening/afternoon of FREE Shopping. The only thing to bring is they're too small, too big, unwanted, clothes, shoes, accessories and display, and trade them, if there's no takers, sell them to a consignment shop in your area. What's not to like about this?
The Advantage is overwhelming; you mingle with your friends, get clutter out of you home, have a glass of wine, and possible leave with some new swag....ALL FOR THE LOW, LOW PRICE OF $FREE.99!!! If you know me personally, don't be mad at the evite coming your way:)
2. If you're working with a very limited but yet, a budget then may I suggest thrift store shopping. It's not just for undergrad anymore. In fact, it keeps you from looking like everyone else, and if you take the time and effort to go to the more affluent areas, you may just find some great name brand pieces for UNDER $20. or even, GASP, a couture piece at a crazy price!
3. And for my label-whore honies and homies who must rock a label at all times (I'm not hating), you must tune into Medusa's Antidote monthly for a list of the sample sales in your area for the ultimate chance to come up on all your fave designers at the knock-off price. If your interest isn't addressed here, feel free to email me directly at: visualantidote@yahoo.com
Until next time, stay flyy
Fashionably Yours,
Medusa
